DJmark is the ORIGINAL and MOST COMPREHENSIVE quality assessment standard for the UK mobile disco industry. We exist to help our members adhere to best practice and improve their business models through example and coaching.
The market served by mobile DJs is extremely diverse, with members commonly providing services for small pubs and private parties through to large society weddings and corporate events.
Most people don't hire DJs on a regular basis and when they do, we'd like to help them make an informed choice. Budgets vary, and as such so do the services offered by our members. Our aim is to level-set expectations by awarding members a quality rating which allows them to be easily compared against their peers in this largely unregulated business. Customers may then confidently determine which organisations they would be willing to trust their entertainment needs to.
Rating System
Our rating system is straightforward. Members submit various forms of certification plus their operating standards in respect of health & safety, and verifiable customer references. These documents are validated and updates are called for regularly.
Any member reaching a minimum quality threshold is awarded a DJmark Bronze award - our basic rating.
Depending on the evidence received, we may then promote a member to DJmark Silver, Gold or DJmark Platinum. Our Platinum rating is understandably difficult to attain and is therefore granted only to the most compliant DJs.
