DJmark assess quality standards for the UK mobile disco industry.
DJmark is the natural progression of our sister site needadisco.com which was set up to promote Customer Service and Safety standards in the largely unregulated mobile disco and entertainment profession.
The aim of needadisco.com is to reward those DJs and mobile disco operators who elect to:
- take out a Public Liability Insurance policy
- undertake regular electrical Portable Appliance safety tests (PAT)
- carry out risk assessments in accordance with a published method statement and take mitigating actions accordingly
- provide written contracts or booking confirmations
- observe copyright protection by way of the ProDub licence
- share verifiable recent customer testimonials
- provide a high degree of customer focused services such as face-to-face meetings as part of their service offering
- act within the law at all times in respect of licencing, copyright, employment and HMRC
DJmark now rewards these members by granting them use of a recongnisable standards mark, plus support and guidance to help them develop their business onto the next level.
