DJmark Ratings

DJmark is the ORIGINAL and MOST COMPREHENSIVE quality assessment standard for the UK mobile disco industry. We exist to help our members adhere to best practice and improve their business models through example and coaching.

DJmark members have attained one of four levels - Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum - depending on the facilities offered. Their ratings are routinely assessed each time a piece of information changes (eg a certificate going out of date or new testimonials provided) and the ranking automatically updated accordingly.


Example Bronze Award

BRONZE AWARD

This is our entry-level award and is granted to members who:

  • carry valid Public Liability Insurance
  • observe the requirements of the ProDub licence, if applicable, or provide confirmation that a ProDub is not needed


Example Silver Award

SILVER AWARD

Granted to members who, as well as the above:

  • undertake regular electrical Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
  • provide written confirmation of all bookings received and apply a fair set of terms and conditions


Example Gold Award

GOLD AWARD

Granted to members who, as well as the above:

  • offer pre-event face-to-face customer meetings
  • provide at least three recent verifiable positive customer references
  • take music requests before and during the event
  • provide customers with a landline or low-call number


Example Platinum Award

PLATINUM AWARD

Granted to members who, as well as the above:

  • publish a Health & Safety method statement
  • carry out pre-event risk assessments and take necessary remedial actions
  • in our opinion provide a level of customer service above and beyond the norm
