Rogues Gallery
The DJmark Awards Scheme has one simple and clear objective - to help the public search for, find and compare legitimate, trustworthy mobile DJs.
Unfortunately we do sometimes come across mobile discos who claim to be DJmark members when they are not, as well as those who use our graphics (or very similar) without permission.
Often when these rogue disco companies are brought to our attention it can take some time to get them to take corrective action. Sometimes we are forced to take action through third parties, such as ISPs, Nominet, Trading Standards or the police in order to protect our interests and those of their customers.
Current Issues
We are delighted to report that all recent rogues have been successfully dealt with. Unfortunately it's just a matter of time before we get to feature a new one...
Resolved Issues
Lake District Entertainment steals copyrighted content from DJmark member(s). This company was using stolen content on their website on 2nd December 2011. This involved copying an entire page of copyrighted content from one of our Platinum Award holders.Learn more about Lake District Entertainment's copyright breach...
ClydeDJs.com of Glasgow / Edinburgh is NOT a DJmark Award Holder. This company was using a stolen example graphic of ours on their website on 15th November 2011, claiming to have been accredited by us when they are not, nor ever have been, a scheme member.

Djp Discos of Ripley in Derbyshire is NOT a DJmark Award Holder. This company was using an out-of-date graphic on their website until 25th September 2011. When they finally responded to our requests to remove the graphic, it was replaced with a look-alike of our logo obviously designed to confuse and mislead potential clients.

How To Report A DJ
If you believe that a DJ company is trying to use the DJmark Awards Scheme to deliberately mislead, report this DJ to us for investigation and we will look into it.
This can include:
- using an award graphic without permission
- using a doctored graphic to make it look as though they are a DJmark holder
- using graphics with the word "Sample" watermark
- using graphics or text which does not link to the DJmark record
- claiming to be a different DJmark award level than shown on the graphic
- knowingly using false or forged details to obtain a DJmark award
Who's a Naughty Boy Then?
This page is a summary of the DJ companies who are currently passing themselves off as DJmark members when they are NOT part of our scheme.
We also feature companies who are NOT members of the scheme but who have caused issues for currently accredited members. Examples of such behaviour might be passing off website content or reviews/feedback as their own when in fact it has been stolen.
If you are considering hiring a featured company, these DJs should be challenged to confirm that they are in fact offering the appropriate level of legitimacy and experience required.
In the interests of future potential clients, any company who has ever featured on our Rogues Gallery page will NEVER be eligible for a DJmark Award in the future.
