Welcome to Nightsounds discos!

We are a professional mobile disco covering Surrey, Sussex and Hants and we cater for all types of events large or small from weddings to teen parties.

We have supplied discos for most of the top hotels and dance venues in and around Surrey, and we are often recommended to their clients. In 2007 we supplied the disco for Radio Mercury's Runaway Bride at the Ghyll Manor Country Hotel in Rusper.

Having been a DJ for the last 25yrs I know how to read the dance floor and keep you and your guests happy!

DJmark Platinum Holder

To achieve the DJmark Platinum Award, Nightsounds Discos has provided documentary proof of the following:

• A Public Liability Insurance policy (also known as PLI) is held by Nightsounds Discos. Last time we saw a copy of the certificate, the expiry date was recorded as 15/08/2012. PLI protects you and your guests in the event of a claim against Nightsounds Discos and is a standard requirement of many venues.

• Holding a ProDub Licence. This is a block royalty payment to music rights owners and allows the DJ to manipulate digital copies of music for public performance or reward. ProDub is a legal requirement. Learn more at the PRS for Music website.

• Portable Appliance Testing records. PAT is a regime for testing and certifying as safe electrical equipment. Most PATs are valid for 12 months and the expiry date for Nightsounds Discos equipment was last recorded as being 16/04/2012. Many venues now insist on seeing PAT records for their or your subcontractors as a condition of granting access.

• Providing Written Contracts or booking confirmation to all clients.

• A published company Health & Safety Method Statement made available to all employees and interested parties. Some venues, especially larger hotel chains, now require such documentation before granting access.

• A recent Health & Safety Risk Assessment for an actual booking.

In addition, Nightsounds Discos has also confirmed to us that they offer:

• Pre-event face-to-face customer meetings, if required (included in the fee)

• Music requests and playlists both in advance and on the night

• A landline number for customer use

Finally, DJmark have validated at least THREE recent positive customer testimonials as being accurate.

Client Meetings Policy

Nightsounds Discos is happy to arrange a face-to-face meeting with customers prior to the event if required. This is included in the package price.

Music Requests Policy

Nightsounds Discos actively encourages requests and playlists in advance of the event as well as calling for requests on the night, if required.
