This ranking is not shown publicly however it is used to determine the order in which DJs are shown when site visitors conduct searches in conjunction with the distance that each member is based from the venue being searched. The higher your rank, the nearer you will be to the top of the page and the greater the likelihood of receiving a quote request.

The chart to the left shows your relative ranking where green represents our top members.

As a Gold DJmark holder, you can significantly improve your ranking by supplying us with Health & Safety documentation - a Method Statement and an example completed Risk Assessment.

Throughout these configuration pages, aspects which can positively or negatively affect your ranking are accompanied by this symbol.

Providing a recent valid CRB or Disclosure Scotland certificate does not affect ranking, but if you have one we can put CRB Approved against your listing.

We do not need to see an actual certificate - instead you can provide a couple of key details including the certificate number and signatory. None of these details will be published or forwarded to clients.

- when you operate under two (or more) different names - for example a specialist Wedding DJ identity and a typical party DJ identity

- when multi-ops run a number of DJs over a large area and want each to have their own identity on the site to catch more searches

Each additional identity can be completely customised in the same way as your primary listing, so you may target different budget ranges, geographies, age groups, venue types and so on.

First purchase an additional identity, below. We will then duplicate your existing record and send you details on how to amend the new identity.

You must switch to one-off annual payments before you can buy additional business identities.

Your basic subscription allows you 31 postal areas in your Geography area. You may increase this in batches of 12 postal areas (or Irish Counties) at £20 / €30 per batch of 12 per annum. Your allowance will be increased accordingly and you may then add new areas in the usual way. There are 135 areas in total across the UK plus 26 Irish Counties.

If your basic subscription is outside the first month of operation, then the additional coverage area payments will act as "balancing" payments the first time they are added. For example, if your current basic subscription allows for 12 areas and has 9 months remaining, then you add 12 additional areas, we will amend your account to show 10 months remaining at 24 areas. In subsequent years the renewals will be concurrent.

The coverage area which you specify determines which leads we send to you.
We will only send you leads for parties taking place in venues within the green coloured areas. You will NOT receive quote requests for events taking place in the white coloured areas.

On needadisco.com, an area is the same as a Postcode Area, for example RG = Reading and nearby towns. You can specify your coverage area one level lower than this - the Postal Outcode. So it is possible to cover RG1 and RG2 but not RG3 or RG4 by being specific when selecting the areas.

To enhance your listing, get better positions in search results and more click-throughs / enquiries, you might want to consider the following suggestions.

- Tell us about your company Google Plus page and we will embed it in your listings. If you do not have a Google Plus account, why not set one up? They are free and are a great way to reach new audiences. They help with search engine presence, too. Do it now

Do you have any video content hosted on YouTube? If so, tell us about it and we will add it to your listing. It will appear on the relevant pages and is a great eye-catcher. Do it now

- We do not hold details of three validated customer testimonials on file for you. If you have them, please upload details. Click Here to send one or more testimonials.

- We do not hold details of health & safety method statements or risk assessments on file for you. If you have them, please upload details. Click Here to send documents now.

- According to your service offering settings, you do NOT provide a Video DJ option. If this is incorrect, visit your member dashboard and click Preferences to make changes. Do this now

- Consider purchasing one of our Postcode Banners to increase visibility of your company across our websites. These are restricted to 1 per postal area and appear at the top of our search results pages, so yours is the first advert returned irrespective of your natural ranking. We will also display your banner alongside venue reviews that you post.

- Review more venues. Each time you review a venue we will list you as a suggested disco wherever this venue appears on our directories.
