Established in 1992, Rob James Entertainment provides mobile discos in Surrey.

We are passionate about what we do and will tailor our service to your exact requirements.

With over 10,000 songs, our music covers most tastes. All clients receive a music request form, so you can pre-request as much of the music as you like.

We can provide many testimonials. Our service is friendly and efficient, rates are competitive and all bookings are confirmed in writing.

DJmark Platinum Holder

To achieve the DJmark Platinum Award, Rob James Entertainment has provided documentary proof of the following:

• A Public Liability Insurance policy (also known as PLI) is held by Rob James Entertainment. Last time we saw a copy of the certificate, the expiry date was recorded as 30/08/2012. PLI protects you and your guests in the event of a claim against Rob James Entertainment and is a standard requirement of many venues.

• Holding a ProDub Licence. This is a block royalty payment to music rights owners and allows the DJ to manipulate digital copies of music for public performance or reward. ProDub is a legal requirement. Learn more at the PRS for Music website.

• Portable Appliance Testing records. PAT is a regime for testing and certifying as safe electrical equipment. Most PATs are valid for 12 months and the expiry date for Rob James Entertainment equipment was last recorded as being 11/11/2012. Many venues now insist on seeing PAT records for their or your subcontractors as a condition of granting access.

• Providing Written Contracts or booking confirmation to all clients.

• A published company Health & Safety Method Statement made available to all employees and interested parties. Some venues, especially larger hotel chains, now require such documentation before granting access.

• A recent Health & Safety Risk Assessment for an actual booking.

In addition, Rob James Entertainment has also confirmed to us that they offer:

• Pre-event face-to-face customer meetings, if required (included in the fee)

• Music requests and playlists both in advance and on the night

• A landline number for customer use

Finally, DJmark have validated at least THREE recent positive customer testimonials as being accurate.

Formerly the local branch of the Royal British Legion, this venue offers a typical social club function room environment for hire including a staffed bar, tables and chairs, a dancing area and a small stage all in one room. The stage is very small with limited height so bear this in mind when hiring entertainers. Suitable for children's parties and small family parties, the lack of parking is this room's biggest concern.
