We've played at various venues from small houses up to The Savoy, and have worked with some well known people from the world of entertainment.
With about 8000 songs from 6 decades, our music covers all tastes. We can provide testimonials and can also visit you to discuss your requirements. Our DJs are professionals - rates are competitive and all bookings are confirmed in writing.

Rob James Entertainment currently holds a PLATINUM DJmark Award. This is the top-level award possible to DJs who have had their business practices vetted by DJmark. This is a difficult level to attain and only those members who follow all accepted industry best practices will achieve this level.
About the DJmark Platinum Award
To achieve the DJmark Platinum Award, Rob James Entertainment has provided documentary proof of the following:
A Public Liability Insurance policy (also known as PLI) is held by Rob James Entertainment. Last time we saw a copy of the certificate, the expiry date was recorded as 01/09/2010. PLI protects you and your guests in the event of a claim against Rob James Entertainment and is a standard requirement of many venues.
A signed disclaimer confirming that due to current working practices within the company, a ProDub licence is not applicable to their operation. A ProDub licence is usually required when manipulating digital media files for the purposes of playing them in public / for reward and is a legal requirement. Portable Appliance Testing records. PAT is a regime for testing and certifying as safe electrical equipment. Most PATs are valid for 12 months and the expiry date for Rob James Entertainment equipment was last recorded as being 01/11/2010. Many venues now insist on seeing PAT records for their or your subcontractors as a condition of granting access.
