To achieve the DJmark Platinum Award, Sound Division has provided documentary proof of the following:

• A Public Liability Insurance policy (also known as PLI) is held by Sound Division. Last time we saw a copy of the certificate, the expiry date was recorded as 01/03/2012. PLI protects you and your guests in the event of a claim against Sound Division and is a standard requirement of many venues.

• A signed disclaimer confirming that due to current working practices within the company, a ProDub licence is not applicable to their operation. A ProDub licence is usually required when manipulating digital media files for the purposes of playing them in public / for reward and is a legal requirement. • Portable Appliance Testing records. PAT is a regime for testing and certifying as safe electrical equipment. Most PATs are valid for 12 months and the expiry date for Sound Division equipment was last recorded as being 26/05/2012. Many venues now insist on seeing PAT records for their or your subcontractors as a condition of granting access.

• Providing Written Contracts or booking confirmation to all clients.

• A published company Health & Safety Method Statement made available to all employees and interested parties. Some venues, especially larger hotel chains, now require such documentation before granting access.

• A recent Health & Safety Risk Assessment for an actual booking.

In addition, Sound Division has also confirmed to us that they offer:

• Pre-event face-to-face customer meetings, if required (included in the fee)

• Music requests and playlists both in advance and on the night

• A low-call or freephone number for customer use

Finally, DJmark have validated at least THREE recent positive customer testimonials as being accurate.

Client Meetings Policy

Sound Division is happy to arrange a face-to-face meeting with customers prior to the event if required. This is included in the package price.

Sound Division actively encourages requests and playlists in advance of the event as well as calling for requests on the night, if required.

Mobile Disco

A mobile disco service with audio equipment, music, effects lighting and an experienced DJ.

Walk-in DJs

DJs with their own playout source for bars & clubs with their own equipment.

Karaoke Service

A karaoke service in conjunction with, or separate from, the mobile disco offering.

Video Disco / Visuals

Visual display screens running music videos, custom video/photo slideshows or moving graphics.

Themed Parties

Sound Division will work with your chosen theme, providing just the right music.
