DJmark is the UK's original and most comprehensive quality vetting scheme for independent mobile disco, DJ and karaoke operators, established in 2007. A range of award levels are offered, from the entry level Silver Award through to a very difficult to attain Diamond Award.

The scheme is endorsed by the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) and the Mobile DJ Network (MDJN).

DJmark is currently only available to needadisco.com members and is a FREE benefit for those who meet the minimum requirements for each award level, which are detailed here.

Members who earn DJmark awards will experience a range of benefits, most notably the ability to impress prospective clients, venue and events managers who will view your award as a positive recommendation.

Many clients tell us that a DJmark Award is a deciding reason when choosing their DJ. In fact, it is always in our Top 10 of common reasons cited.

DJmark Awards are assessed regularly, usually on a Friday evening and applied automatically. You can keep an eye on your progress at Member Dashboard -> DJmark Awards

Planned exceptions to this policy can be viewed on our outages page and are usually announced several weeks in advance on our news page.

Once you have been granted a DJmark Award at any level, you must continue to provide the evidence needed to retain it. Your site ranking is improved if you maintain the highest possible level of DJmark Award..

If you would like to opt OUT of the DJmark Awards scheme simply let raise a Support Request to let us know your preference and we won't include you in the assessments.

Coming soon, we are launching our DJmark Approved Venue scheme

We want to increase the visibility of DJmark and having undertaken market research with a cross-section of venues across the country recently, we are launching the "DJmark Approved Venue" scheme.

Approved Venues will feature on the djmark.org website, showing the world that they care about hiring or working with conscientious DJs and delivering a high quality service to their clients.

To achieve an award, venues need to:

insist on proof of PLI from visiting DJs and other service providers

insist on proof of PAT from visiting DJs and other service providers

acquire a favourable review from a DJmark holding DJ - to include parking, access, facilities, staff interactions and workability of any sound limiter type devices

- once an award has been granted, future enquiries for that venue will NOT be offered to non-DJmark holding DJs

- venues will be given access to an award badge for use in their own marketing and we will promote them in venue searches

- policing of the PLI/PAT aspect will be via feedback from DJmark holding DJs
