Macs Music can accommodate for all genres of music with a wide variety to suit all ages. I have years of experience and my aim is to make your special night one to remember. I'm based in Woolwich but willing to travel. I have a wide range of lighting plus smoke machines, bubble machine and silk flame effects.
Required by many venues, Macs Music has a current PLI policy with National Association of Disc Jockeys in the amount of £10 million.
Also required by many venues, Macs Music has supplied satisfactory evidence of holding current PAT inspections of their equipment dated within the last 12 months.
A Method Statement outlining Macs Music's Health & Safety procedure for setting up disco equipment has been provided.
Macs Music has provided Risk Assessments undertaken at events sourced via needadisco.com, indicating that they can undertake these competently.
DJmark is the UK's original and most comprehensive quality and safety vetting scheme for independent mobile disco, DJ and karaoke operators. A range of awards is offered, from an entry-level Silver Award ensuring that basic business practice is followed, through to the prestigious Diamond Award which is difficult to obtain. At all levels, accepted members operate with due regard for the law, industry best practices and excellent customer care.

I was able to request all the music I wanted and allowed to let them know what I didn't want played. They had all the stuff that we wanted played, even more obscure 60s and 70s tracks. We had lots of compliments on the disco. I loved the fact that they were nearer our age and have clearly quite a few years experience of doing this kind of thing. They were loud and cheesy, like some DJs who go a bit over the top (which wasn't the style we wanted). I loved the fact that you could watch the music videos to accompany the tracks on the large screen at the front of the decks. Julie took photos throughout the evening (with permission) and these were made available for us free of charge to download. It was excellent because I wouldn't have remembered half the evening without them. And one of the photos taken of our first dance turned out to be my very favourite photo of our wedding, including the very expensive ones our professional photographer took, so thank you very much for that Julie! :) Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andy Mac's disco! During the entire preparative stage Andrew was great at keeping in touch with both us and the friends that helped us prepare, for him and us to have our expectations aligned for the evening. Andrew was flexible in terms of lending us some of his lightning equipment for us to use, prior to him playing later in the evening. On the evening of the celebration they were there well in advance to set up their light and sound equipment such that we could start the party at the time agreed upon. During the evening we had a blast and all of our guests also gave us the feedback that they had a lot of fun. Andrew was very receptive to particular music requests (even somewhat odd ones) from our side helping us have a great party. He was more than happy to provide all the music we asked for. He arranged a pre-visit of the venue and contacted me to reassure me that everything was fine. He also contacted me the week before the wedding to offer reassurance and ask if there was anything else we wanted on the day. On our wedding day he was really lovely, playing everything we asked for and also taking requests which were played pretty much straight away. All the guests commented on how good the disco was and said it was the best wedding reception they'd been to. Will definitely recommend and use again!
