My name is john and the owner at southwest discos. I am a professional wedding and events DJ based in Gloucestershire. With many years experience working in a wide range of venues large and small I can assure when booking with southwest discos direct you will receive great customer service which should exceed expectations.
With many free additional extras when booking with us, all our lighting shows are manually controlled throughout the night. This means we can slow the lights down, change them to any colour you want and also turn them off, your photographer can then capture some photos with no interference to help achieve top quality pictures you can treasure forever! Also offering karaoke with over 85,000 tracks!
At Southwest Discos Direct we only use professional grade sound systems and lighting which plays a vital part on your special day. The last thing you want is the music to be bad quality or the light shows to be the same throughout the event. Your wishes are my priority and I would love to help plan the wedding entertainment/service you deserve.
Most weddings I support have guests of all ages from children to grandparents and I'm happy to say I offer a good variety of family/friendly, popular songs of all different genres from 1950s to date.
We are available to hire for all types of celebrations and events so please get in touch.
Required by many venues, Southwest Discos Direct has a current PLI policy with National Association of Disc Jockeys in the amount of £10 million.
Also required by many venues, Southwest Discos Direct has supplied satisfactory evidence of holding current PAT inspections of their equipment dated within the last 12 months.
A Method Statement outlining Southwest Discos Direct's Health & Safety procedure for setting up disco equipment has been provided.
Southwest Discos Direct has provided Risk Assessments undertaken at events sourced via needadisco.com, indicating that they can undertake these competently.
DJmark is the UK's original and most comprehensive quality and safety vetting scheme for independent mobile disco, DJ and karaoke operators. A range of awards is offered, from an entry-level Silver Award ensuring that basic business practice is followed, through to the prestigious Diamond Award which is difficult to obtain. He listened carefully to my requests, made great suggestions and acxommodated the final arrangement. On the night JOHN and his team arrived on time and was punctual. The kids loved the candy floss machine and the giant garden games. The photo booth was fantastic and we more or less everyone through there. Again care and time was taken to make sure all my guests had an oppprtuntiy to visit and most of all was fun! John’s Disco was fantastic. It was well laid out, clinical to look at with great lighting and of course music. My requested playlist was integrated as requested and my guests at 1am thoroughly enjoyed the karaoke. John and his team after the night got on and cleared up quietly with no fuss.
