Bump vehicle up on kerb against fire exit doors then through a lobby into a small hallway through 2 sets of separate doors and into the venue, set up at the back of the room FACILITIES: Set up in the large round bay area STAFF: Staff all really nice POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "A compact venue with a stone floor and low ceiling makes it acoustically good. There is a dedicated unloading area. ACCESS: Access to the loading area is extremely tricky and near-impossible in a large vehicle which would require moving equipment from the car park instead - a significant difference. From the actual fire exit doors its only about 5m to the setup area. FACILITIES: A long, narrow and tall room with open beams. Stunning for weddings. Setup area is big enough for most setups. STAFF: OK staff POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Venue is licensed for ceremonies, and because of the layout its not possible to set up early. DJs must set up after the ceremony during the first of 2 turnarounds. Depending on cermony times, typically you have just...between 45 mins to 90mins to unload and set up ready for wedding breakfast background music. Smoke used to be allowed but not any more. Midnight music licence." | |||||||
