Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Plenty of parking with space for about 10 vehicles by the main door then a bigger car park a short walk from the hotel (within grounds) ACCESS: Fairly easy access through the main door, down a hall and into the restaurant FACILITIES: Reasonably large setup area with high ceiling STAFF: Staff were difficult over pre-arranging setup times and sourcing of power. It is HIGHLY recommended that you have a 3-way discussion with the client and the duty manager at the start of the evening f POWER PROVISION: Poor provisioning. There are plenty of sockets around the room but virtually all are taken with ele ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Functions are allowed to be booked until 1am in the knowledge that they have a 12:00 midnight entertainments licence which can lead to a sudden and unexpected halt" | |||||||
