When a field event is in progress, staff and guests may park at the far side of the field. This review relates to an outdoor event held within the grounds of the venue utilising a Tentipi. ACCESS: The outdoor marquee is erected in the field within the grounds of the venue (immediately adjacent to the tea rooms). Performers may park next to the marquee to unload equipment and then must move to the far side of the field for parking. FACILITIES: Dodgy (lol). When the marquee is constructed there is a dance floor fitted on top of the grass, within the marquee. However, it is very wobbly and unstable. Screens cannot be used as they would simply fall over. We did it with lasers and spots only. - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: No issues - staff are hired in for events POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Being a marquee it was an out of the ordinary setup. Beware - in rainy conditions water can infiltrate the marquee and get into equipment. Take plenty of cover sheets and be prepared to move within the marquee as the evening progresses. In very bad weather move into the venue itself." | |||||||
