Permanent wooden dancefloor Haze/smoke allowed Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area SOUND LIMITER - SENSITIVE PARKING: Quite a sizeable car park around the back and to the side of the building for guests. Entertainer can park directly adjacent to the loading door and stay there all gig. ACCESS: From the van, through the single loading door directly into the function room. Carry about 3 metres to the setup area. Basically, its a doddle :) FACILITIES: Small doesnt come close - its tiny. About a 3 feet corner. Screens are a bad idea. Lasers and spots in here only. - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: The staff are great but have to spend their night closing the external door everything some goes outside as noise is a MAJOR issue at this venue. Locals have complained to the council in the past so now has a noise meter. 90db MAXIMUM - music off by 23:00. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The function room is small, the setup area is small, sensitive noise meter fitted, strict 23:00 music off. Lots of rules here folks but actually a nice venue for a small party :)" | |||||||
