Permanent wooden dancefloor High permanent stage Haze/smoke allowed No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning PARKING: Small car park to the front and both sides of the building. Suitable for around 25 cars. Parking space right next to the entrance ramp for entertainers. Park and stay here all gig. ACCESS: From the van, carry the kit up the loading ramp and through a single glass access door into the foyer. Then through a set of double doors into the hall. Stage is at the back of the hall. FACILITIES: High and wide stage at the rear of the main hall. Lots of room and can easily accommodate the largest of rigs. Spot on. - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: The caretaker was the only staffer present. Happy, friendly and a generally nice guy. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Large hall best suited to kids parties and community events. Can cope with around 100 guests and there is a high stage for entertainers. Staff and locals seem very friendly - nice venue to work in." | |||||||
