No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Large car park but set away from the venue down the drive ACCESS: Pulled up outside of main entrance to hotel and took equipment via reception into the function room. Had to move van to car park immediately after unloading. FACILITIES: Square room with French doors on one side opening out onto the front lawn, dividing doors giving access to the other rooms and entry door into the room itself. Set disco up against wall which didn't have any doors on it. STAFF: Initially the staff were friendly and helpful but this all changed during our client's first dance when a guest accidentally dropped a glass by the edge of the dance floor. Manager came rushing in and was abrupt whilst the first dance was ongoing and demanded that we immediately told the assembled guests that glasses were not allowed in the room. Staff were also quite particular about the volume that the music could be played at even though our clients had exclusive use of the WHOLE hotel! POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "There are three function rooms at this venue which are all connected to each other via sliding dividing doors. " | |||||||
