Permanent wooden dancefloor Low permanent stage Haze/smoke allowed No sound limiter Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No effective blackout PARKING: Loads ACCESS: You can park right by the ramp to the double doors to the room FACILITIES: Big , wide low stage. 3 sockets in easy reach - width available: 3-4m - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: Staff were pretty friendly but at the end there was a kerfuffle of some sort when a woman asked if i knew that i had to be packed up in 30 mins or they would lose their deposit/bond. this was news to me and apparently the groom as well. i wasnt able to get done in that time but he apparently smoothed it over with her. i will double check with him. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "JUST BE AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL BOND/DEPOSIT ISSUE FOR GETTING OUT BY 12:30 AND TO MAKE SURE THE CLIENT KNOWS ABOUT THIS. I WAS BOOKED TIL 12 AND FINISHED ON TIME. BUT IF I HAD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS, I WOULD HAVE SAID TO THE CLIENT THAT I WOULD FINISH AT 1130 IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE THAT I CAN BE OUT BY THE 12:30 DEADLINE AND ENSURE THEY WERENT GOING TO LOSE MONEY" | |||||||
