Permanent wooden dancefloor Haze/smoke allowed No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area No effective blackout PARKING: Limited parking immediately outside main entrance but to the right leads to large car park to side the side of the club. ACCESS: The entrance to the function room is at the rear of the golf club. Park in front of the double garages and access is via the fire doors to the left of the garages with a carry distance of approx 5 metre.. The doors can be hooked back to stay open and there is an outside light switch as otherwise it is poorly lit. There is a step up and then you turn left into the function room. Depending on the location of the set up area the carry is no more than another 2 or3 meters. Note there is a handrail w FACILITIES: The recommended set up by club manager is directly in front of the fireplace which is a quite central. Space could be tight depending on room layout and the number of round tables laid out. Note that the buffet is laid out on a large table to the right as you look at the fireplace. A large rig set-up might be tight for space and will be very close to dining tables. STAFF: Co-operative friendly staff who are very helpful with tables and ensuring you are comfortable with the set-up area and layout of the function room. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "This is a very grand ballroom type function room. More of a rectangular shape with lots of windows and a very high wooden beam ceiling. The function room is due to be renovated in early 2017 which will no doubt enhance this venue significantly. A great venue leading out onto a patio area and the golf club gardens with easy access and parking." | |||||||
