You can temporarily park in front of the loading doors next to the main entrance to unload then move to a parking space. ACCESS: Through a set of double loading doors carry kit through the service corridor into the function room on the right side of the bar. FACILITIES: Setup is along the rear wall to the immediate right of the bar. Tables provided and there is a large screen TV mounted on the wall making it ideal for Karaoke. - width available: 2-3m - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: The staff were fine but I get a feeling of lack of communication going on. Nobody seemed to know a great deal about the event, even though it was the hotel that booked us. There was no clear direction other than play 80s music all night. We were kind of working blind. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Nice hotel on the outskirts of Newcastle. It has a traditional pub atmosphere but can also cater for smallish private functions. Has a lot of locals milling around in the bar when the football is on using some choice language (!!) but generally a decent venue. Weve been in much worse!" | |||||||
